We invite you to travel with us to Gettysburg, PA, the site of the largest battle ever waged during the American Civil War. First we will visit the Gettysburg Museum & Visitors Center which will immerse visitors in sight, sound and emotion. The center will tell the story of the battle and the entire Civil War in a setting that amazes and inspires with interactive stations throughout the museum. Included in today's tour are the feature film, "A New Birth of Freedom" and the newly restored Gettysburg Cyclorama painting which will include the recreation of the skyline, the canopy and the three-dimensional diorama which have been missing for over 40 years. A Licensed Battlefield guide of Gettysburg will then take us through the battlefield describing in detail the events of those first few days of July in 1863. Free time will be included today to enjoy some shopping and lunch on your own.
