"Christmas Lights & Cannoli Tour of
Brooklyn" invites everyone to come visit the
Italian-American section of Dyker Heights, made famous in 2001
PBS documentary "Dyker Heights" and most recently on TLC's
"Crazy Christmas Lights". Each year, the residents of Dyker
Heights compete to have the biggest, best, and brightest
Christmas decorations. In addition to over-the-top Christmas
lights, there are huge inflatable Christmas decorations,
animatronic toys and motorized displays. We'll visit Bay Ridge,
which also has become known for their Christmas lights, and
we'll stop by one of Brooklyn's best Italian pastry
shops
Mona Lisa Pastry Shop &
café for cannoli and hot chocolate!. Come
join us for this 3 ½ hour tour which begins in Brooklyn
and join the estimated 100,000 pilgrims that flock here each
year to cruise the neighborhood and bask in the glow of the
glorious excess. Prior to the tour, you'll have
approximately four hours of free time in Lower
Manhattan.
