Fall Foliage Pa Grand Canyon

Start your day with a tour of Patterson Maple Farms where you will learn the history of making maple syrup from the Indians to the present day.  Also included is a delicious sit-down “tasting”, (more like a breakfast) of pancakes, ham cooked with maple syrup, apple wedges to sample maple cream and maple granulated sugar, plus a beverage (coffee, tea, juice or water).  After visiting Patterson Maple Farms, we’ll enjoy the fall foliage at the PA Grand Canyon Overlook and Visitor's Center just outside of Wellsboro in Ansonia for great views of this natural wonder. You will also have free time to browse the shops on main street in Wellsboro.  Before settling in for the evening we will enjoy A Taste Of Wellsboro at Rookie Cooks Academy.  This will begin with a showcasing of Wellsboro, locally-made products.  Then, the Chef will provide a Culinary Demonstration.  You will have your choice between Chicken or pork for the entrée.  Dessert choices are Bananas Foster or Berry-Cherry Peach Sauce with Ice Cream.

Start Sunday off with a hot breakfast buffet at the hotel.  After breakfast we will travel to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon where you will ride in style from the comfortable, padded seats of a horse-drawn, covered wagon! As you travel the old railroad bed through Pine Creek Gorge, you'll experience the canyon the way folks did in days gone by. (PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY FOR THE SEASON.  WE SUGGEST LAYERS or bringing a blanket.  It is 10 degrees colder at the bottom of the Canyon) After your covered wagon ride, enjoy a scrumptious Sunday lunch buffet at Windows on 4th Before returning home, we will travel to Williamsport where we will Cruise the Susquehanna River on the Hiawatha Riverboat. Young and old alike will truly enjoy this exciting tour.
